This is where I will be posting information on my DIY CNC machine. I have been CNC'ing guitars and guitar templates. Those who want to make guitars by hand, they can follow a template. I have also been CNC'ing scroll saw patterns. As I work with my machine - I will be blogging that experience here. Thanks for visiting and come back frequently for updates.

Spindle test is working very well
Using the Wecheer 1/4 HP Flexible Shaft Carver Kit as a spindle is working out pretty well. My goal was to have a quieter router and this id definitely quieter. I will post some more pics of the item I am cutting out when it is finished. Even though I am cutting it in pine as a test, later I will re-do it some kind of hard wood. I am cnc'ing a 4 inch coin in wood to use as an award for my team mates at work.
The Wecheer carver kit has a max RPM of 22000 and 3 collets (3/32", 1/8", 1/4"). I currently have it plugged into a variable speed control allowing me to slow it down when I need to.
